War Cemetery No. 387

War Cemetery No. 387 - Krakow - the historic Austrian war cemetery, designed by Hans Mayr, located in the Jewish cemetery on Miodowa Street (New Jewish cemetery in Krakow). One of the more than 400 zachodniogalicyjskich war cemeteries built by the Department of War Graves C. and K. headquarters of the Military in Krakow. Cemetery in the form of accommodation war is against the wall on the side of the embankment of the railway line.
The plan of the cemetery was ordered with Hans Mayr by the Jewish community, but in the form designed by Mayra was never made. It originally consisted of 160 (or 161) and 14 individual graves collective.
At the cemetery they buried 148 Austrian soldiers and 3 Russian soldiers of Jewish faith who died in the First World War. 26 tombstones have been preserved, most in poor condition, including 3 Russian soldiers.
