Museum of the History of Photography . Valery Rzewuski in Krakow

Exposure
The permanent exhibition presents the following issues:
• prehistory of photography, camera obscura and magic lantern,
• reconstruction of the photographic studio late nineteenth and early twentieth century.,
• Historical photo: daguerreotype, ambrotype, tintype, pannotypia, stereoscopic photography,
• history of technical development of cameras from the model of the first camera
• Photoclub Polish, Photoclub Vilnius,
• old photographic print ads,
• darkroom equipment from the 20s and 30s in.
The Museum has its own publishing activities. Every year, also takes part in the Night of Museums.
Legal status and organizational structure of the Museum
Museum operates on the basis of the law on museums , the law on organizing and conducting cultural activities and the statutes of the Museum of the History of Photography in Krakow issued Resolution No. 381/2002 of the Management Board of the City of Krakow dated 7 March 2002. According to the Statute of the museum it is a cultural institution separate from a legal and economic-financial, organized by the Municipality of Krakow. The museum has the following units:
1. Inventory and Collection Department Collection
2. The Secretary of the Commission Purchasing
3. Educational Forum, Exhibition and Promotion
4. Division of Technology Photography
5. Department of Photography
6. Library and Archives
7. Administration Department
8. Department of Finance and Accounting
9. Officer. Human Resources and Secretariat
10. Officer. Safety
Supervision of the Museum in general exercised by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, and direct the Krakow City Council. At the Museum operates ten member Museum Council, whose members are appointed and dismissed by the Mayor of Krakow. Internally, work rules Museum are specified in the Organizational Regulations.
